Technology
Choosing the right technology is a very important step to designing and building a custom solution. There are many factors involved with selecting the right technology to fit your needs. Some ot the factors include scalability, supportability and cost. Our core competencies are a collection of cutting edge and legacy technologies.
Visual Basic / Visual Basic.NET
Visual Basic .NET 2003 provides the easiest, most productive language and tool for rapidly building applications for Microsoft Windows® and the Web. Visual Basic.NET 2003 delivers enhanced visual designers, increased application performance, and a powerful integrated development environment (IDE) to get you on the fast track to application development.
Classic ASP / ASP.NET
ASP.NET makes building real world Web applications dramatically easier. ASP.NET server controls enable an HTML-like style of declarative programming that let you build great pages with far less code than with classic ASP. Displaying data, validating user input, and uploading files are all amazingly easy. Best of all, ASP.NET pages work in all browsers -- including Netscape, Opera, AOL, and Internet Explorer.
SQL Server
Today's competitive business environment requires enterprise applications and databases that can accumulate information gathered by business systems, support a rapidly increasing number of concurrent users, and efficiently process and analyze massive amounts of data in increasingly complex ways. SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition provides a scalable data platform with tools to help companies intelligently analyze large data quantities and make informed decisions. Optimized for the Intel Itanium processor, SQL Server 2000 takes advantage of advanced memory addressing capabilities for essential resources such as buffer pools, caches, and sort heaps, reducing the need to perform multiple I/O operations to bring data in and out of memory from disk. Greater processing capacity without the penalties of I/O latency opens the door to new levels of application scalability
Microsoft Office
The Microsoft Office System delivers a powerful collection of integrated programs, servers, and services that can help developers build robust business solutions to streamline processes and connect people to information and to one another.
Web Services
Web Services take many of the ideas and principles of the Web and apply them to computer/computer interactions. Like the World Wide Web, Web services communicate using a set of foundation protocols that share a common architecture and are meant to be realized in a variety of independently developed and deployed systems. Like the World Wide Web, Web services protocols owe much to the text-based heritage of the Internet and are designed to layer as cleanly as possible without undue dependencies within the protocol stack. An important area in which Web services differ from the World Wide Web is scope.
HTTP and HTML were designed around "read-mostly" interactive browsing of content that is often static, or at least highly cacheable. In contrast, the Web services architecture is designed for highly dynamic program-to-program interactions. In the Web services architecture, many kinds of distributed systems may be implemented. Examples include synchronous and asynchronous messaging systems, distributed computational clusters, mobile-networked systems, grid systems, and peer-to-peer environments. The broad spectrum of requirements in program-to-program interactions forces the Web services protocol stack to be much more general purpose than the first Web protocols. However, like the Web, Web services rely on a small number of specific protocols
Microsoft Window 2000/2003/XP
Windows Server encompasses a rich set of technologies, features, and services that are engineered to work as a comprehensive, integrated, and easy-to-use solution. Windows Server is designed around end-to-end scenarios that deliver an integrated experience out of the box, which helps you quickly deploy solutions to meet your business needs. The integrated innovation approach also opens up more opportunities for application providers, service providers, systems integrators, training providers, and hardware developers to innovate and create valuable solutions. The built-in, standards-based services and platform features that Windows Server provides enable vendors and partners to focus on delivering integrated solutions that extend the core Windows platform and add business value for customers.
Microsoft Exchange 5.5/2000/2003
To compete successfully in today's challenging business climate, organizations must enable more efficient ways for knowledge workers to communicate and collaborate. E-mail is currently the most widely used collaborative technology. More businesses use Exchange Server for e-mail-based collaboration than any other product. Exchange Server 2003 enables knowledge workers to gain access to critical business communications almost whenever and wherever they need to and is designed to deliver greater security, availability, and reliability
